NORTH ZULCH, Texas (KBTX) - First responders in North Zulch were dispatched to a fully engulfed, large structure fire on FM 1372, west of FM 39 on Sunday.

Departments on the scene included ones from the North Zulch Volunteer Fire Department, the Brazos County Precinct, and several more agencies from the area.

The fire was contained to the one building and it was concluded that the fire was started by a handheld griding tool that ignited one bale of hay which quickly spread to approximately 500 bales.

One firefighter over heated but was promptly attended to. North Zulch and Normangee crews remained on location over nigh and all other agencies were released.
