JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A Pell City man convicted on two of four murders he was accused of committing has now received the death penalty.

Daniel P. Watson is accused of committing two double murders in two separate Alabama counties during March 2023 .

The first occurred in St. Clair County where investigators found 37-year-old Amber Manning dead from a gun shot and 62-year-old Timothy Davidson suffering from a gunshot wound. Davidson ultimately died from the injury at UAB hospital.

The second occurred in Birmingham. Watson reportedly approached a Leeds Police officer and told the officer that he’d shot two people in Birmingham. The officer said Watson then provided a description of the general area of the house and what it looked like.
