A proposed Wawa store in Hampden Township that hit a roadblock earlier this year is back on the table.
Wawa filed a new land development plan to build a store on lots 4A and 4B in Cumberland Technology Park on Technology Parkway at the intersection of Mount Zion Drive and Technology Parkway near Wertzville Road.
The project was back in front of the township’s planning commission on Thursday night, months after the Hampden Township Commissioners unanimously voted to deny the chain’s land development plan on Technology Parkway.
Hampden Township manager, Keith Metts, previously told PennLive that Wawa’s developer did not present a plan that was compliant with all of the township’s ordinance regulations.
The Philadelphia-area chain is proposing to build a 6,049-square-foot store with fue
