BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A fire at a Clarence residence caused an estimated total of more than $1 million in damages on Monday afternoon, the Amherst Central Fire Alarm Office said.
The fire occurred at 8300 Greiner Rd. Fire crews responded to multiple calls around 4 p.m. and it was under control around 5:40 p.m., officials said. The fire was extinguished around 6:40 p.m.
The fire caused an estimated $900,000 in damages to the house's structure and $250,000 in damage to the house's contents.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
