The Western Australian MP, now opposition spokesman for home affairs, told ABC radio he was prepared to quit the shadow frontbench or be sacked if the Liberal Party didn't abandon its 2050 net-zero greenhouse gas emissions target.
What's Hastie trying to do? As an old mate said, Hastie left his defence role so he could sign up for the front line of the culture wars. And don't forget he has already flagged his ambitions: a "desire to lead" the Liberal Party after ruling himself out of the ballot last time around (16 weeks ago).
That just means he's waiting for a time to pounce on Ley. And he's in a
