WARREN Parole has been denied for a man convicted of a 1976 murder that happened in Warren, according to a news release from the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office on Monday.
Pompie Junior Wade, 72, who is currently incarcerated at Marion Correctional Institution, will remain in prison for at least five more years following his parole denial.
This was his fourth attempt at parole. Wade will have his next parole hearing in June of 2030.
In 1976, Wade was convicted of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder, aggravated robbery and manslaughter for the murder of a store clerk in Warren.
Court records indicate that Wade was robbing the Austin Beverage Store in Warren on December 29, 1975, when he shot two employees there.
