BERLIN, Conn. (WTNH) -- There have been rallies and protests from New Haven to Newington in response to Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents detaining people they say are illegally in the United States.

In Berlin, residents met to discuss what they can do to help their immigrant neighbors.

"We're very concerned about what's happening with the immigrants in our communities, in our neighboring communities, and the actions that have been taken," Laura McCarthy from Grassroots Berlin said. "And we find ourselves to be very ill-prepared to even begin discussions about what is happening here."
