EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - UE women’s college soccer has had a fantastic season, thus far. They went 4-2-1, in their non-conference slate, including a big, 2-1, statement win, over Purdue!

Before yesterday’s loss to Middle Tennessee, they were riding a four-match, unbeaten streak, and they had posted three shutouts, in a row! So, their defense has definitely been key to their good start, but it’s their offense, that has really turned heads.

They have really improved, this season, scoring 11 goals, so far, in their first seven matches. Compare that to last year, when they only scored 13 goals, the entire season.

UE women’s soccer is back home, this Saturday, September 20, when they host Illinois Chicago, in their conference opener
