Andover and Walpole have developed one of the best rivalries in field hockey. The Golden Warriors and the Porkers have faced off in the Div. 1 championship in four straight seasons, each winning twice.
“Every single year, we have a good amount of kids returning,” Walpole coach Jen Quinn said. “I very rarely end up having to completely start over. I think I have six returners from last year, which is just a good number. So then, you rely on those kids to set the tone, and keep everyone moving in the right direction.”
Quinn’s group welcomes back multiple stars, including Babson College commit Kate Schneider, one of the state’s leading scorers last year (32 goals, 17 assists). The Porkers also return Kendal Cusack (12 goals, 13 assists) and Caroline Handwerk (14 goals, seven assists), along
