ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - According to attorneys on the case, the Georgia Supreme Court on Tuesday will consider whether to disqualify Fulton County DA Fani Willis from her historic election interference indictment against President Donald Trump.

The Georgia Court of Appeals removed Willis from the case in December of last year, citing an “appearance of impropriety” by the district attorney.

In February of last year, Willis admitted to having an improper romantic affair with special prosecutor Nathan Wade . The reveal kicked off a storm of controversy that led to the removal of Wade and the appeals court’s decision to disqualify Willis.
