A third suspect has been charged in the August shooting death of a 26-year-old man in Birmingham.

Wyatt John David Askew, 19, is charged with capital murder in the Aug. 12 shooting death of Quindarius Allen, and attempted murder in the wounding of a second person, according to court records made public Monday.

Wyatt was booked into the Jefferson County Jail shortly after 10:30 a.m. Monday. He is being held without bond.

Askew is the third person charged in Allen’s slaying. A mugshot was not immediately available.
