OSHKOSH, Wis. (WBAY) - The Winnebago County Board is again discussing drafting an ordinance to establish a countywide sales tax at its meeting Tuesday night.
The county is looking at a half-percent sales tax to stabilize its finances.
On the agenda for the 6 p.m. meeting is a resolution that calls for the ordinance to be ready for discussion in November.
At last month’s meeting, the board was hoping to have it done by October.
