Darien High School has a two-hour delay on Tuesday as police investigate a threatening social media post.
A message the interim superintendent of schools posted on the school website said a social media post with a threat against the high school was shared with school administration early Tuesday morning, Darien police were immediately notified and they are investigating the credibility of the threat.

“In the interest of safety and providing the Darien Police with an appropriate amount of time to investigate, school will be opening on a two hour delay,” interim superintendent Eric Byrne wrote.
Byrne said the threat was specific to Darien High School and there is no mention of any other schools. Darien High School
