U.S. President Donald Trump arrives in Britain on Tuesday for a two-day state visit that will be full of pomp and ceremony, noisy protests, and deep public discontent with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer who is facing calls to resign.
Mr. Trump and his wife, Melania, land in Britain Tuesday evening but the pageantry starts Wednesday morning when they fly by helicopter to Windsor Castle for what will be an unprecedented royal visit and a massive security operation.
The Trumps will be welcomed with a gun salute fired from the lawn of Windsor Castle and the Tower of London. They’ll then join the King and Queen in a carriage procession through the Castle grounds that will involve 1,300 soldiers, thre
