ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – September is National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and members of New Mexico law enforcement are supporting local children in their fight against cancer.
Monday, New Mexico State Police officers visited the pediatric ward at the University of New Mexico Hospital in honor of 'Tackle Kids Cancer Day.' Officers brought toys, stuffed animals and encouragement to the children. In a social media post NMSP says "We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside these brave kids and their families."
