A man has pleaded guilty to the murder of a missing Cambridgeshire woman, whose body is yet to be found. Karl Hutchings, 48, admitted to killing Julie Buckley at Cambridge Crown Court yesterday (Monday, September 15).

Concerns were raised about the 55-year-old's whereabouts in early February of this year. An investigation into the case revealed she had not been seen since January 28.

The police attended her home in The Hill, Christchurch, Wisbech on February 13 and found blood around the property that was linked to Julie. Hutchings was arrested on the same day.

The police believe he killed Julie on January 30 and then used her bank cards and sold her possessions. Julie's body still has not been found despite the extensive investigation.

Hutchings is due to be sentenced on October 24. A
