Eric Dane advocated for a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) as the progression of his symptoms was on full display in a campaign video.
After the “Euphoria” actor missed the planned “Grey’s Anatomy” reunion at the Emmys 2025 Sunday, he appeared in a campaign video for the I AM ALS organization to promote accelerating research for the neurodegenerative disease.
“I’m Eric. An actor, a father and now a person living with ALS,” Dane, 52, said in a clip shared on Instagram Monday.
“For over a century, ALS has been incurable, and we’re done accepting the status quo. We need the fastest path to a cure and that’s why I partnered with I AM ALS on the Push for Progress. Our goal? A billion dollars over the next three years,” the “Grey’s Anatomy” alum continued.
