Actor Robert Redford has died at the age of 89 , it has been announced. While he will be remembered for an incredibly career, winning countless awards including two Oscars, he faced a number of heartbreaks during his life. ‌

Robert was married twice during his life, leaving behind wife Sibylle Szaggars at the time of his death. However he was married to activist Lola Van Wagenen first from 1958. It's not clear when they divorced, but in 1982 it was reported they had been separated for "a number of years". ‌
