Screen legend Robert Redford has died at the age of 89.
On Tuesday, Redford’s publicist confirmed that the Academy Award winner had died at his home at Sundance in the mountains of Utah — the place he loved, surrounded by those he loved”.
A cause of death has not been provided.
Redford’s career spanned seven decades, beginning in the 1960s, when he landed small roles in projects like The Twilight Zone and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.
Towards the end of the decade, he landed a role opposite Jane Fonda in Barefoot In The Park, he saw a boost in his popularity, appearing in movies like Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid and The Candidate.
By the end of the 70s, he was one of Hollywood’s most famous leading men, thanks to his performances in All The President’s Men, The Way We Were, The S
