TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Tallahassee Police announced Tuesday morning that it, along with the Leon County Sheriff’s Office’s Dive Team, is searching in the area of the retention pond at Cascades Park.

There’s no danger to the public, police wrote in a social media post around 8:30 a.m.

However, authorities are asking citizens to avoid the area while the investigation is underway.

TPD did not share any details regarding what authorities are searching for.
