EastEnders icon Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) is returning to Albert Square after a five-month absence following the death of her close pal Martin Fowler (James Bye) in February.

The blonde bombshell was reunited with her adoptive half-sibling, Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig), before ditching Walford to visit her grieving friend, Michelle Fowler (Jenna Fowler), in Australia. But Sharon struts back on the Square on Monday (September 22), unaware Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) has returned after a 20-year hiatus.

As fans of the BBC soap will know, Zoe had an affair with Sharon's dad, Dirty Den Watts (Leslie Watts) while she was trying to win back the affections of ex-boyfriend Dennis Rickman (Nigel Harman), who was Sharon's lover and adoptive brother.
