LAKEWOOD, Ohio -- Nearly a month away from the Lakewood City Schools Board of Education’s expected vote on the potential closure and repurposing of a Lakewood City Schools elementary building, Superintendent Maggie Niedzwiecki last night discussed data points being used to craft her recommendation.

“I shared data points that myself and my administrative team will be using to make the best recommendation to the Board of Education,” she said. “Much of the data that we presented to the task force was just district-led data.

“So I will be utilizing the district-led data; meaning the data that the district sought out through other vendors to ensure that we had appropriate enrollment studies and multiple different variables. That data will be a part of my decision-making.”
