The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) indicated yesterday that a weeks-long overdose investigation by the agency’s Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit (NOC) resulted in the seizure of almost $2 million in illegal drugs intended for the Portland area and the arrest of several people.

During several operations stemming from leads developed during an overdose investigation over the past two weeks, NOC investigators seized narcotics with an estimated street value of approximately $1.9 million intended for distribution in the Portland metro area. The seizures included:

29 lbs. of Fentanyl

55.5 lbs. of Methamphetamine

6.6 lbs. of Heroin

2.2 lbs. of Cocaine

2 Firearms
