NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating a deadly head-on crash that occurred on Tuesday morning.

MNPD reports that the driver of a Nissan Rogue died after a head-on crash with a GMC Terrain on Bell Road at about 4 a.m.

Preliminary investigation shows that the Rogue crossed the double yellow line where it collided with the northbound Terrain, police said.

The driver of the Rogue, 26-year-old Kyree Hollins, of Antioch, died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Terrain was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“Toxicology testing will be conducted by the Medical Examiner’s Office to determine whether impairment played a role in this fatal crash,”
