Jury deliberations have begun in the trial for Joshua Hubert , after more than a week of testimony and arguments were heard in Worcester Superior Court.
Hubert, 43, faces several indictments in connection with the attempted murder and rape of a 7-year-old girl in Worcester in 2017, which are being combined into one case for the trial that began with opening statements on Sept. 8. He is charged with forcible child rape, child rape aggravated by age, two counts of attempted murder and a single count each of kidnapping a child under 16 and strangulation.
