One person was killed and two others critically wounded in a shooting during an attempted robbery at an east Las Vegas park early Monday morning, Metro Police said in a news release this morning.

Three juveniles have been identified as suspects and will face multiple felony charges, including open murder, police said.

Police responded to reports of gunfire at a park located in the 4400 block of East Washington Avenue at approximately 1:03 a.m. Monday.

Officers arriving at the scene discovered a male victim with apparent gunshot wounds in the basketball court area. Medical personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.

As additional officers arrived, two more gunshot victims were found. Both were transported to a local hospital where they remained in critical condition.
