CLEVELAND (WJW) -- Free is probably best, but paying 50 cents for a cheeseburger isn't a bad deal at all.

On National Cheeseburger Day, which hits Thursday, McDonald's is celebrating by offering double cheeseburgers for 50 cents.

The deal is reportedly only valid during lunch and dinner, with only one 50-cent burger per customer.

The catch of course is that the deal can only be obtained when purchasing through the McDonald's app.
