FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Allen County Republican Party shared on Tuesday that a celebration of life to honor the memory of conservative activist Charlie Kirk is planned for this weekend in Fort Wayne.

Chairman Steve Shine shared the announcement on Tuesday, saying the celebration is planned for Saturday, Sept. 20, at noon. It will be held at the Indian Trails Park Concert Pavilion, at 10313 Aboite Center Road.

Those who wish to attend are asked to bring their own lawn chair.

Senior Pastor Paul Mower of The Harvest Fellowship Church will preside at the vigil, Shine says.

Several guest speakers, including Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita, are set to speak at the event to deliver remarks. The event will wrap up at 1 p.m.
