A guy who got kicked out of the Draft, 34 Harvard Ave. in Allston, after getting into a slap/punch fight, waited outside for his opponent, then stabbed him in the back, around 1 a.m. on May 9, police and bar managers told the Boston Licensing Board this morning.
The victim managed to make it down Harvard Avenue to Gardner Street, and then a couple blocks more - police and EMTs found him on a couch on the porch of a house between Linden and Chester streets.
The Draft was before the board to answer a police citation for "assault and battery dangerous weapon patron vs patron." The board will meet on Thursday to consider whether the Draft could have foreseen the stabbing and, if so, whether it deserves any sanctions.
According to bar attorney Carolyn Conway, "a fight started basically out o
