A Loveland man has been arrested in the investigation into an arson and property damage at a home where a memorial for Charlie Kirk was displayed.
The man was arrested on the evening of Sept. 15, Loveland police posted on X.com.
Just before midnight on Sept. 13, officers responded to the 200 block of East 23rd Street, a news release from Loveland police said. The memorial had been set on fire, and a large rock was thrown at the rear window of the resident’s vehicle. The news release said the damage was extensive.
The memorial was placed on the resident’s front-yard fence, according to police. It displayed a sign that said, “RIP Charlie Kirk, we stand with you,” and was surrounded by American flags and solar lights, according to police.
