HAMILTON, Ala. ( WBRC ) - The Hamilton Police Department is at Hamilton High School after a faculty member found an unspent 9mm round of ammunition.

Officers are doing a thorough search of the grounds.

At this time, there is no indication of an immediate threat to students or staff. The Hamilton Police Department is working closely with school officials to maintain safety and provide reassurance to the community.
