CADILLAC - The Wexford-Missaukee Career Technical Center has named an interim superintendent.

Kim Blaszak, who currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for General Education at WMISD will step into the role.

The announcement comes following news current Superintendent David Cox will retire after 31 years in education, including 18 years with Wexford-Missaukee ISD.

He starts a new role on Oct 1 as President and CEO of the Cadillac Area Chamber of Commerce.

An open house celebrating Cox will be held on November 7th,from 3–6 p.m. at the Wexford-Missaukee ISD Career Technical Center.
