Western North Carolina's Mountain State Fair is over for the season, but North Carolina chain Krispy Kreme is still going strong with a new fair-themed collection of sweet treats.

Krispy Kreme is celebrating the start of a new season by unveiling a doughnut collection inspired by the "sights, smells, and iconic tastes of your favorite seasonal fairgrounds, no ticket required," the doughnut chain announced on Monday, Sept. 15.
