The Ohio State University in Columbus has evacuated three buildings on Sept. 16 after a suspicious package was found.

Social media posts by The Ohio State University Emergency Management department, starting at 12:30 p.m., shared that Caldwell Lab was being evacuated as “a precaution while police investigate a suspicious package.” Minutes later, the nearly by Journalism Building was also evacuated “due to is proximity” to Caldwell Lab.

At 12:40 p.m., the department shared both buildings had been evacuated and that people avoid the area.

At 1:07 p.m., Bolz Hall was also evacuated “out of caution” as police and fire departments continued to investigate the suspicious package. The post also reminded people to avoid the area.
