New York Liberty forward Breanna Stewart's status for Wednesday night's playoff game against the Phoenix Mercury is still up in the air after imaging on her left knee came back "relatively clean."
Liberty coach Sandy Brondello informed reporters of the results on Tuesday, Sept. 16, adding that Stewart will be a game-time decision for Game 2, which is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Stewart, a two-time WNBA MVP, suffered the injury in Game 1 of the best-of-three series, which New York went on to win 76-69 in overtime Sunday night in Phoenix. She was present at Tuesday's practice session, but didn't participate.
