CHARLOTTE — The Panthers signed a couple of players off AFC North practice squads to fill their two available roster spots.
They added former Bengals linebacker Maema Njongmeta and Ravens center Nick Samac .
Njongmeta, originally an undrafted rookie from Wisconsin, played in 17 games for the Bengals last year, primarily on special teams.
Samac was a seventh-round pick in 2024 out of Michigan State, where he was a three-time Academic All-Big 10. He didn't appear in any games last year and was waived in cuts to the 53 this year.
They filled the spots of Robert Hunt and Austin Corbett , who went on IR with injuries sustained in Sunday's loss at Arizona .
