The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Indiana announced Tuesday that an Indiana man has been arrested following a lockdown and shooting at the Naval Academy Thursday. Jackson Fleming, a 23-year-old resident of Chesterton, Indiana, was arrested one day after the lockdown and an on-campus altercation that left a midshipman shot and a law enforcement agent injured. Fleming has been charged with one count of transmitting a threat across state lines. If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison.
