General manager Danny Briere says Carter Hart's agent has informed the team that the goalie has ruled out a return to the Flyers.

Hart is one of five players acquitted of sexual assault charges stemming from a 2018 incident involving Canada’s world junior team.

The NHL has said these players can sign contracts starting Oct. 15 and participate in games from Dec. 1.
