The phrase “It’s only karaoke” does not apply to The Cabin, the site of the first annual PC Idol Karaoke Tournament.

“This is a real rock-star experience,” said host Malia Denali. “We have great lighting and audio, that is mixed by an incredible sound engineer. And we have a disco ball.”

The tournament, which started six weeks ago, will culminate with a grand finale from 9:30-11:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 18.

“We’ll take it to the Den, the subterranean concert room at The Cabin,” Denali said. “It’s been a fun six weeks of heats, and I’m so excited to give these singers a chance to get up on that stage and have their friends and families come and cheer them on and all of that.”

The event is for ages 21 and older, and admission is free, according to Denali.
