LOGAN, Utah (ABC4) — Following the assassination of its founder, Erika Kirk said that Turning Point USA will continue with its American Comeback Tour. One of the stops will be Utah State University.

Amanda DeRito, Associate Vice President for Strategic Communications at USU, said that the event will take place at in the evening at an indoor venue.

"With respect to the original events Turning Point USA had scheduled on our campus, USU Public Safety began planning immediately upon notification that one of our student clubs had extended the invitation to them," DeRito said.

DeRito said that USU will work with the student club, TPUSA, and local, state, and federal officials to ensure that those in attendance remain safe.
