Mariners' Cal Raleigh is heating up at the right time in AL West race
Cal Raleigh is back in business.
The Seattle Mariners ' superstar catcher was in an absolute rut for the last couple months. He'd still hit a home run every now and then, but his average over the period was hovering below the Mendoza line.
Recently, though, Raleigh has heated up, and it has come at the perfect time.
The Mariners are a half-game up on the Houston Astros entering Tuesday night's action, and Raleigh is a big piece of it once again.
In Raleigh's last 15 games, he's 12-for-46 (.261 batting average).
In that span, he has two doubles, four home runs and eight RBI.
He has also walked 11 times, for a .414 on-base percentage.
His slugging in the stretch is .565, and his OPS up a
