A case involving three pharmacy owners, opioids and a monkey in a small Tennessee town ended with three guilty pleas.

Thomas Weir, 65, William Donaldson, 65, and Pamela Spivey, 55, pleaded guilty in hearings on Sept. 8 and 10 to federal crimes that could land them in prison for longer than a decade.

It is less clear what happened to Carlos the monkey.
