The National Weather Service in Nashville has canceled a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Davidson, Rutherford and Williamson Counties as the storm began to weaken.
The weather services said 60 mile-per-hour wind gusts are expected as a thunderstorm capable of damaging roofs, siding and trees blows through southeastern Davidson County, northwestern Rutherford County and northeastern Williamson County.
The weather service said the storm began to weaken as it moved in southeast Davidson County.
