SAINT MATTHEWS, Ky. —

Cinnaholic, a gourmet cinnamon roll shop, has opened its first Kentucky location.

In St. Matthews, the chain offering plant-based treats that have become a local sensation.

The shop located on Shelbyville Road near Hubbards Lane is owned by Louisville natives Dion and Sean Roberson.

Cinnaholic first gained national attention after being featured on "Shark Tank" in 2014.

"We wanted to bring this concept here after living in Atlanta for several years. It's something that we loved while living there," Sean Roberson said.

At Cinnaholic, customers can design their own cinnamon rolls, choosing from more than a dozen topping options.

"We just thought it made sense, it fits right into the culinary scene here in Louisville. It's a foodie town," Sean Roberson said.
