A book of condolence will be made available in Hyde for the public to pay their respects to former champion boxer Ricky 'The Hitman' Hatton.
Hatton tragically died aged 46 at his home in the village on Sunday morning.
His death has sparked an outpouring of grief and tributes from fight fans across the world.
Tameside Council said on Tuesday night a book of condolence would open at Hyde Town Hall on Wednesday. It will be open for people to sign between 7am and 5.30pm - and the book will go on to be presented to Hatton's family.
