WAYNESVILLE, Ohio —

A major road is closed in Warren County, following a crash Tuesday afternoon in Wayne Township.

According to Warren County dispatchers, the crash happened around 2:55 p.m. in the 4900 block of U.S. Route 42. Advertisement

Units with the Wilmington Fire & EMS responded to the scene, close to Red Stewart Airfield. A single vehicle was involved in the crash, dispatchers say.

U.S. Route 42 is closed in both directions. At this time it's unclear whether anyone was injured.

Units with the Ohio State Highway Patrol in Lebanon are also responding to the scene. This is a developing story and will be updated as we learn more information.
