LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville police arrested a man after they say he pretended to be a CIA officer.
According to an arrest citation, an officer pulled over a vehicle that was heading down Bardstown Road without a valid plate. Police said David Christopher was driving the car and told the officer he didn’t have a valid license because it had been “illegally revoked.” Police said his license had been suspended. Christopher also told police he didn’t have valid insurance on his car.
Court documents say Christopher insisted multiple times he was a CIA officer. Police said he had multiple items, such as hats, shirts, money clips, and a wallet, that had CIA written on them. Additionally, Christopher reportedly showed officers a card that said “Association of Former Intelligence Officers
