ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - A man is facing charges after a deadly shooting in part of the Midlands.

The Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office says 21-year-old Quentin Williams Jr. was arrested Monday and charged with murder as well as possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

The sheriff’s office said Williams is charged in the death of 28-year-old Cameron Ryant, who was killed after a Sept. 6 shooting on Presidential Drive.

Warrants obtained by WIS note that the shooting happened at the Roosevelt Gardens apartment complex. Those documents also cite “multiple videos from surveillance cameras” showing Williams shooting Ryant in the back between the buildings on Judicial Circle and Representative Circle.
