A Chattanooga man has been charged in federal court after investigators say he sent a death threat to the Islamic Society of Greater Chattanooga (ISGC).

Federal court documents show that 50-year-old Robert William Miller sent an email on September 9 that read, “I’m going to kill all of you, Hail Satan.” The message was received at the ISGC’s official email account and reported to the FBI the following morning.

Investigators traced the email to Miller’s residence above The Brew and Cue bar on Rossville Boulevard, where he reportedly used the bar’s WiFi. Bartenders told agents Miller had a history of posting hateful and violent messages online, including a 2022 threat on Facebook.
