BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Nonprofits across the region came together at Legends Event Center on Monday to get ready for the seventh annual Brazos Valley Gives .

Patricia Gerling, president of the Community Foundation of the Brazos Valley, said the upcoming event provides everyone in the community with an opportunity to make a difference.

“Today was the official launch of our seventh annual Brazos Valley Gives Day,” she began. “We joined together with over 190 nonprofits and representatives to kick off this online giving celebration that will be held on October 21.”

The month-long fundraiser raises donations for nonprofits across the region and leads to a big day of giving in October.
